Here at Simonton Veterinary Clinic, we strive to make your pet’s stay as comfortable as possible in our clinic. We are known for our atmosphere that makes our clinic feel like home.
All boarders are hand walked multiple times daily and outside playtime in our runs is provided during nice weather.
Please call our office to schedule your boarding reservation or to discuss our accommodations. You are also welcome to schedule a tour of our facility or set up an appointment with our doctors to discuss your pet’s unique needs.
Itchy Pet Awareness
Itchy Pet Awareness Month may be over, but it is always good to keep an eye out for your pet’s health when it comes to allergies and skin conditions. Frequent licking, excessive rolling, ear problems, hair loss, body odor, and skin changes are all common symptoms. If you spot any of these Itchy signs in your pet, call us today to schedule a skin health checkup!
Our feline patients are housed in our cat condo that is glass on the side facing our windows so that the view can be enjoyed at length. You are welcome to speak with us at any time to discuss how to make your pet’s stay more enjoyable.
We are happy to provide any special care that your pet might need. All boarding pets are monitored closely by our veterinary technicians and kennel staff and any issues or concerns are promptly addressed by the veterinarian on duty.
Vaccinations are required for boarding. Please consult with our staff prior to boarding to discuss any vaccinations that may need to be updated. If your pet has any medical conditions, please schedule an appointment to discuss pertinent medical history and medical needs prior to boarding.
FOOD & BEDDING
During your pet’s stay, we change all bedding and food and water bowls daily. Our in-house high quality diet is provided or we are happy to feed your pet’s specific diet to your specifications if you prefer. Toys and bedding from home are welcome.
Although we do not have an in-house professional grooming facility, we do offer full body shaves and limited specialty grooming for those patients that require sedation for grooming. Sedation can significantly help those patients that do not tolerate a typical grooming appointment. Please call our office to discuss your preferences and needs.
